The 12th Annual San Diego Solar Tour showcases 16 unique grid-tied solar applications in the residential, small commercial and commercial space. Slated for October 1, 2011, this self-guided tour offers home owners, renters, business owners, public agencies and educational institutions the opportunity to talk with property owners and solar experts County-wide about the innovative solutions they are employing to harness clean, renewable solar energy to 1) improve property values, 2) slash utility bills, 3) fuel their vehicles, 4) recoup their tax dollars via tax credits and state rebates and 5) assert their energy independence -- all while sustaining San Diego's sublime quality of life.
