This is the 15th Annual Austin Cool House Tour. In conjunction with Austin Energy Green Building, TXSES will highlight 16 homes on this day long tour Sunday June 5. The newly constructed and remodeled homes feature:
Climate-responsive design
Appropriate land use
Solar technology
Water-saving landscaping and rainwater systems
Healthy and comfortable interiors
Durable and low-maintenance materials
Tickets (available after May 7)are $17 at both Austin Central Markets, $17.50 online at www.TXSES.org and $15 the day of tour at the homes. An online version of the guidebook/ticket will be posted shortly.
