The first Tennessee Solar Institute funded project in the country. Chucky Creek Farms, owned by Thomas Leach includes 10kW of Grid tied roof mounted PV in the middle of east Tennessee Appalachian country. This system sustained F2 115mph winds during the recent devastating tornado events experienced April of 2011. The system remain intact and still at maximum production.
