Open for viewing and discussion will be a 8kW ground mounted PV system (44 Evergreen blemished panels, 3 3.0-3.3 kW Xantrex inverters), 10 kW Bergey Wind turbine on 100' tower with Xantrex Gridtek inverter, solar thermal panels for a pool in greenhouse, WaterFurnace geothermal used for AC only, ERV system with 260' ground loop, low voltaage switching, on-demand gas water heater and passive solar, earth sheltered, timber frame with R50 walls, R70 roof self built SIP panels house, all owner constructed except turbine erection. Power Smart pricing is used for the electric system.
Total production to date (12/31/10): Wind from 2/9/07 - 24252 kWh: Soalr (6.8 kW + 1.2 kW on 7/16/08) from 8/16/07 - 34515 kWh (Wind inverter repair 3/29/09 - 5/8/09). Annual production: 08 Wind 8,262 kWh, Solar 9,739 kWh; 09 Wind 5,434 kWh, Solar 10,732 kWh; 10 Wind 5,686 kWh, Solar 11,380 kWh.
We are located on Spring Lake road, ca. 1 mile west of Mahomet and then 1.25 miles south.
