The Ypsilanti Food Co-Op building features a 2.3kW 12 panel Sanyo photovoltaic installation, equipped with watt meters to monitor the energy consumption and generation. The Food Co-Op is housed in the historic Mill Works Building and is over 100 years old. The store uses efficient lighting, and has replaced the windows.
