This location is a home and business. The homestead has a high efficiency electric boiler for under-floor radiant heating system supported with electric boiler and solar thermal. Domestic water is heated with electricity, supported with solar thermal and a DC heating element utilizing PV panels for power outages. Home also has a Biomass Burning Stove.

The business office is entirely controlled by DC electric created by 2 small VA wind turbines and Alpine Industries PV panels. Solar air heating supplements the wood burning stove for space heat.

I addition to the renewable energy based application the location also utilizes LED lights, Solar Tube lighting, blown cellulose insulation, and a programmable thermostat.

Wood used for renovations to the home and business was collected from "Taylor Recycling: On site is a Greenhouse and decomposing toilet facility commonly referred to as the out house.
