Please join us for the ninth annual Build It Green! Home Tour on Saturday, September 25th, 2010, 11am – 5pm, followed by a FREE Info Fair at Ecohaus, 819 SE Taylor, Portland, OR 97214 from 3pm – 7pm. This year the tour and fair are on the fourth Saturday in September. This year’s tour features twenty-one green remodels and new homes around the Portland metropolitan area, highlighting affordable housing, Passive House Standard and small footprint dwellings.
The Ninth Annual Build It Green! Home Tour is part of the Oregon Green and Solar Tours - one of the biggest events of its kind in the nation. Each year, communities from across Oregon offer tours of homes and business showcasing a variety of green and solar technologies. Each tour reflects the unique interests of the community, yet all share a common goal: to educate the public about green and solar strategies.
