Snohomish County PUD is proud to celebrate the 5th annual self-guided solar homes tour of Snohomish County and Camano Island. Since the inception of the PUD's Solar Express program in March 2009, which offers customers low-interest loans or cash incentives for solar installations, we have more than doubled the number of net-metered systems in our coverage area. Take advantage of this unique opportunity to meet with customers that are enjoying the benefits of producing solar electricity in their own home and see if solar is a good match for you!  

The self-guided tour kicks-off at the PUD in Everett, where you can view the PUD's 9.72 kW system and enjoy the Renewable Living Fair. 

While at the PUD, you can also attend The Green Everett Renewable Living Fair: Sustainable Living on a Budget; here you will be able to meet with the vendors that can help you on your path to sustainability, everything from low and no-cost changes all the way to solar installations. While attending you can also enjoy keynote speaker Vicki Robin author of "Your Money or Your Life",  enjoy a musical performance by Artis the Spoonman and attend workshops on:  

·       FREE LIGHT BULB EXCHANGE! Bring in your working incandescent light bulbs and exchange them for CFL's. *Limit of 5 per household 

·       Backyard chicken

·       Children’s Activities 

·       Low Impact Entertainment

·       Raising Healthy Kids & Families
