This tour highlights homes with various types of solar installations (PV, hot water) in the northeast section of Tucson in the Tanque Verde Valley near the Catalina Highway. Find out about why these neighbors have chosen solar energy to meet part of their electricity and hot water needs. Bring your solar questions to discuss with the homeowners and installers. You will learn about costs, payback. construction details, choosing an installer, etc.
This is a free self guided tour. Pick up a tour map at Le Buzz Caffe and visit some or all of the homes on the tour anytime between 9:00 am and 1:00 pm.
