We support a transition to 100 percent clean energy in Chester County. Our reasons? A transition to renewable energy is good for our community. It will make us stronger, healthier, and more resilient; it will create jobs and new business opportunities; and it will allow us to become a more equitable society where everyone has opportunity in a thriving economy.

Already 9 communities have passed resolutions to transition to renewable electricity by 2035 and for all purposes by 2050! These include: Phoenixville, West Chester and Downingtown Boroughs along with Kennett, East Bradford, Charlestown, Schuylkill, East Pikeland, Tredyffrin and Uwchlan Townships.

The Tour is endorsed by our three Chester County Commissioners, the Chester County Planning Commissions, State Senators Andrew Dinniman and Tom Killion, State Representative Christina Sappey, State Representative Carolyn Committa, State Representative Melissa Shusterman, East Pikeland Township, PennEnvironment, Citizens Climate Lobby, Physicians for Social Responsibility, West Chester Area Green Team, Stroud Water Research Center, Uwchlan Township,The Phoenixville Green Team, and the West Vincent, Uwchlan and Tredyffrin Environmental Advisory Councils.
