Our 14,000 kW system includes 12,650 kW of residential and 1,350 kW of community solar which Is sufficient to meet 95-105% of our electrical needs.  Our 2-cell Tesla Powerwall maintains a balanced and cost effective system. Our 2,000 gallon rain-water collection system is used for watering the raised bed vegetable garden and greenhouse plants. The 3 cubic yard compost bins contain enough compost for garden use and help to minimize waste.  We maintain a 20,000 sq. ft. garden specifically for pollinators.  Solar energy is a key component to sustainable living, important to us.  Our goal is to act as positive stewards of the environment and help its critters survive while doing our part to minimize climate impacts. Due to COVID-19 concerns, visitors are requested to use the on-site Port-a-Potty rather than the house bathroom.
