Harrisonburg Energy Fest

October 2 @ 9:30 am - 3:30 pm UTC-4

This is your chance to learn about solar energy straight from the source – your neighbors and local experts.

The JMU Center for the Advancement of Sustainable Energy (CASE) joins the nonprofits American Solar Energy Society (ASES) to showcase solar-powered homes in the Harrisonburg area and across North America for the 26th Annual National Solar Tour, the world’s largest grassroots solar event.
Participants will have the opportunity to network with solar installers, attend informative presentations, and participate in a local Solar Home Tour. During this event community members can see real-life examples of how their neighbors are harnessing free energy from the sun to generate electricity, warm and cool their homes, heat water and slash monthly utility bills and is hosted in coordination with the American Solar Energy Society’s 2021 National Solar Tour.
