The Bullitt Center

The Bullitt Center is considered one of the greenest buildings in the world. Since its opening in 2013, it has generated more energy on an annual basis from the solar array on its roof than it uses. The Bullitt Center is a certified Living Building, which requires all energy to be produced from renewable sources. When the Bullitt Center was being designed, developers in Seattle said it was impossible to power a 6-story building from solar. Years later, the Bullitt Center has shown it’s possible.
