Anderson Solar Site
October 2 - October 3
This rooftop installation shows how a solar photovoltaic system can be installed on a wide variety of homes that may not have perfect siting. This site faces 120 degrees (east-southeast) but generates power most of the day. There are 2 different monitoring systems; an eGauge and a central inverter from SolarEdge that incorporates power optimizers on each panel. Also at the site is a 240V NEMA 14-50 outlet in the garage used to charge an electric vehicle (Tesla Model 3).
