I helped build and install a 10.5 KW ground mount solar system.  Last year my 10.5 KW system generated 13.3 KW.  This system provides enough power to run my all electric home and charge my electric car.  With the savings on my electric bill, payments from the power company for producing excess power, and SREC payments, my investment in this 1 year and 8 month old system should be paid off in about 8 years. I decided to go solar because of my concern for global warming.
