The Denver Metro Green Homes Tour has coincided with the National Solar Homes tour for over 20 years. Interesting examples of solar and sustainable architecture are featured throughout Denver and the close-in suburbs. Starting from the Golden Mountaineering Center., the tour includes an informative booklet about each of the featured homes. Both refitted and newly designed homes are available to tour with homeowners and volunteers explaining features and answering questions. Sustainable products are featured at the vendor displays in the afternoon and evening.
