We have a 14,4kW solar array with 3 signature Tesla Powerwall batteries and a Tesla electric vehicle! When the power goes out, we still have power.
We produce all our energy ( including charging the Tesla Model S) and sell the rest back to Duke through net metering. Our Duke Energy bills are $0/month.
Since 2019, we have produced 54.42 MWh and we have consumed 40.41 MWh.
Our lifetime solar offset is 134%. Our 2022 offset is 150%.
Driving on sunshine is a great lifestyle AND we are saving money!
