Solar Cooking Display and Demo @ Minneapolis Open Streets Minnehaha Avenue

October 1 @ 11:00 am - 3:00 pm - October 1 @ 11:00 am - 3:00 pm

The Big Blue Sun Museum of Cookers has acquired the largest collection of solar thermal cookers in the world. The Museum attends as many civic events as possible, weather permitting, to promote the use of solar cooking in every day life. Learn why solar cookers “aren’t just survival tools or strictly for camping,” rather, when the sun shines, no utilities are used, and no pollutants are spewed into the atmosphere. Solar thermal is the cleanest energy available. Apart from events, the Museum hosts an on-going video series of conversations with solar cooking inventors, promoters, and power users: http://youtube.com/c/BigBlueSunMuseumOfSolarCooking

PLEASE NOTE: The exact location of this event will be announced a week prior to the event. This information can be found at http://OpenStreetsMipls.org
