Sun-Powered Home & EV in Bozeman

This home’s 3.6 kW net-metered solar electric system includes sixteen, 225-watt photovoltaic (PV) modules and a central inverter. Energy and water efficiency measures were taken before the system’s sizing and installation. The system powers 100% of the home’s electrical loads plus a 2022 all-electric Chevy Bolt. Other sustainability measures include xeriscape landscaping and a recently installed air-to-air heat pump for the open-concept living space.
