ASES National Solar Tour

Hello from the School of Art at Texas Tech University in Lubbock, TX, aka, The Flatlands. Or, as I like to say an environment that is more sky than earth, more light than land, more horizon than pavement. In my artwork process, I use the sun to expose solar prints. It involves a photographic light sensitive chemical and sunlight. I am interested in learning more about solar energy and how it can interest with the art world. I have a workshop titled Solar Powered Painting that I do with student groups. The goal is to get students thinking about art and renewable energy. The workshop is featured in this video. Thank you for taking a look and I appreciate learning more about solar energy! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dkOuiVDmnMA https://www.carolflueckiger.com/
