West Chester University Geo-Exchange System
October 2 - October 3
West Chester University of Pennsylvania has invested in one of the largest geo-exchange heating and cooling systems at a North American institution of higher education. With over 800 wells on campus, WCU’s district and individual building systems provide energy efficient, low-carbon heating and cooling to almost half of over 3 million square feet of building space on campus. The system annually saves hundreds of thousands of dollars in energy costs and reduces our yearly carbon emissions by thousands of tons.
