The American Solar Energy Society‘s 28th Annual National Solar Tour aims to promote renewable energy awareness and increase the adoption of sustainable living practices. Are you interested in going solar or purchasing a sustainable system? Join in-person or virtual tours to gain insight from current owners!
Although the main weekend is October 6-8, 2023. In-person and virtual tours are happening all throughout the year.

Country in the City Solar Home and Sustainable Mini-Farm
Our mini-farm has the feel of the country while being located in an urban area only 15 minutes from downtown Cleveland. We have a two year old solar system on our garage roof that covers most of our electrical needs. We also have many other examples of DIY projects that are sustainable and/or use upcycled materials. Examples include electrical lawn care equipment, a greenhouse, rain barrels for irrigation, a barn in the process of being renovated, and landscaping centered around permaculture and native plants. When visiting, please park behind the house in the main driveway area.
