This site is a historic double shotgun home with two solar panel systems (one per unit) that offset 80-100% of the energy used on site. The home is extremely efficient, thanks to insulation in the attic, under the home, and in the walls, as well as features such as well-maintained HVAC systems and LED lighting.
In total, the home is about 1900 ft2 and uses approximately 7800 kWh annually combined. This year (2023), the solar panel system should produce around 8,000 kWh, offsetting up to 100% of the home’s electricity usage.
