Open House hours for this solar home are Saturday, October 7th, from 10:00 am until 4:00 pm
This home is also a bus stop on the Saturday, October 7th Ohio “Wish You Were Here” Tour : https://www.nationalsolartour.org/tourmap/ohio-wish-you-were-here-tour-2-2/ The bus will arrive around 10:00 am
This home provides an example of a “work around” if you are not allowed to ‘net meter’, as is the case in Painesville and areas of Lake County served by the Painesville Municipal Electric. The home partially depletes the batteries in its Tesla Power Wall during non-daylight hours so as to gain solar storage capacity.
