The American Solar Energy Society‘s 28th Annual National Solar Tour aims to promote renewable energy awareness and increase the adoption of sustainable living practices. Are you interested in going solar or purchasing a sustainable system? Join in-person or virtual tours to gain insight from current owners!
Although the main weekend is October 6-8, 2023. In-person and virtual tours are happening all throughout the year.

Hardwick Solar Home
Bill Gold is a solar pioneer who installed a `15.4 kW ground mounted solar system in 2008 at his 2,000 sq.ft. home in a rural area of New Jersey. Since then he has added two Tesla Powerwall units (for up to 29 kW storage), and three ductless heat pumps. Bill uses solar hot water for a radiant wall in his home and to heat his orchid-filled greenhouse. He has a 240 volt EV charger for his Hyundai Ioniq 5 EV.
