Kenston Wind Turbine, Solar Array, Solar Tracker, and Solar Thermal system

In 2012, with help from a from a $250,000 Federal Race to the Top Innovation Grant, Kenston schools completed multiple renewable energy installations.  They include:

… a 750 Kilowatt wind turbine on a 213 foot tower

… a 30 Kilowatt roof-mounted solar array

… a 3 Kilowatt ground mounted solar tracking array

… and a 79,200 BTU solar thermal water heating system

This will be a DRIVE BY ONLY for the Ohio “Wish You Were Here” Tour guided bus tour.   The 10/6/23 guided tour bus will arrive at Kenston School around 2:00pm and depart around 2:15pm
