The American Solar Energy Society‘s 28th Annual National Solar Tour aims to promote renewable energy awareness and increase the adoption of sustainable living practices. Are you interested in going solar or purchasing a sustainable system? Join in-person or virtual tours to learn from owners who have done so!
Although the main weekend is October 6-8, 2023. In-person and virtual tours are happening all throughout 2023.

The Laketran Wickliffe Park-n-Ride will host our Electric Vehicle Rally as part of the Ohio “Wish You Were Here” Tour, organized by the American Solar Energy Society.
The EV Rally will be from 10:00 am until 12:00 noon on Friday October 6th. There will be Electric Vehicles for viewing plus a brief tour of one of the Electric Buses ( thanks Laketran!! ). Laketran has a fleet of TEN electric buses that have been operating continuously in lake county for over a year now.
Come check out and learn about the EV’s that will be on display. Bring your EV to show to other tour participants.
The four EV charging stations will be open and will offer FREE charging for the morning !
The 10-6-23 guided tour bus will arrive at the Laketran Wickliffe Park-n-Ride around 10:00 am and depart around 11:00
