The American Solar Energy Society‘s 28th Annual National Solar Tour aims to promote renewable energy awareness and increase the adoption of sustainable living practices. Are you interested in going solar or purchasing a sustainable system? Join in-person or virtual tours to gain insight from current owners!

Although the main weekend is October 6-8, 2023. In-person and virtual tours are happening all throughout the year.

Meet the TREMPs — Trempealeau Renewable Energy Municipal Producers

The Village of Trempealeau (pop. 1610) has a municipal utility company that benefits from 14 residential solar installations, 1 community solar installation, and 1 bio-mass facility — and a citizenry devoted to sustainable practices that preserve the natural beauty that surrounds it. The map shows seven sites that will offer in-person tours or easy viewing. More sites and a virtual tour of battery storage in a residence may be added by October 7th!! Start at the The Historic Trempealeau Hotel, and look at the updated map while enjoying a beer or rootbeer!
