Event Series Event Series: The Ranch – Keeping in Character

The Ranch – Keeping in Character

October 7, 2023 @ 9:00 am - 5:00 pm - October 8, 2023 @ 9:00 am - 5:00 pm

This residential RE site is has a hybrid approach.
The theme is you can Design and Build your own SOLAR_HOME. I did.

For the last 4 years the home have been Net-Zero – with annual checks back from Xcel
The system is mature and has stood the test of time, at over 120,000 KWhrs & running
It features the largest solar powered Gazebo in Westminster (when built 2014)
From 48 PV panels there is a 24V zones, a 42V Gazebo, and a 48V long run section.

We would love to show and listen to your interests in practical use of Solar power in its many forms.
Like charging of eBikes, MPPT or maximum power point tracing – Outbacks, Lead Acid Battery power storage, shade trees, gardening, thermostatic attic cooling, blinds, supplementary heat pumps, LED lighting, electric vs. gas dryer, practical sustainability, self reliance, getting a home energy audit, etc.

This showing since being in active CRES in 2003 & 2004 home presentations – is a Tribute to Ron Larson and Sheila Townsend whom helped us get this done and promoted the right stuff.
