Come to Wilmore and take a short drive with your car to see just the how our local home owners, businesses and the City of Wilmore have incorporated solar panels.   Here is how it works.

Tour Starting Place:    Come to the home of Dale Shunk, 120 Combs Ln, Wilmore, KY 40390 and be welcomed to Wilmore.

View the Shunk Solar Array:    Stay a few minutes at the starting place and tour the 4.0 KW rooftop array with battery backup. This is the only in-person site in our tour.  Talk with the owner about any aspect of the installation and maintenance.  The other arrays can only be seen from your car by following the map.

Pick up a map:   Get a City of Wilmore map at the starting place to follow between the hours of 9:00 AM and 6:00 PM.   The map locates the solar arrays in the City of Wilmore.  You can also download a PDF version from our ASES Wilmore Tour Site.
