The house is now over 20 years old and has proven savings of over $70,00.00 in both heating and cooling. It has recently been upgraded to use a 1 kW PV array to provide more savings in AC and heating. With a DC heat pump, it gets lots of energy savings from its aware 2 stories over the basement and isolating room configurations. It is the subject of a movie published on YouTube in the early 2000s that was sponsored by WI focus on energy.
